While I was being pestered with my 'hearing voices' concern my mind just got a thought of why don't our startups solve the chronic issues in India and across the world. One of them during this monsoon season was floods.
Just like cloud seeding, can't we have clouds distributed across a geographical area. This can prevent floods in one area and droughts in another area. A network of satellites similar to that of GPS can track clouds across the globe and distribute them in real-time using our new startup technology. The satellites must be equipped with the hardware to distribute clouds and must be connected to the supercomputers for processing the weather data in real-time.
Hydrogen-based fuel cells. All companies must join hands to make the R&D of making Hydrogen based fuel cells a reality for the world as soon as possible. This will definitely prevent climate change caused by burning fossil fuels.
Most of Mumbai is always underwater during the monsoon season. Can a startup funded by Reliance Industries or Reliance Group India brainstorm on this and solve the problem? The same startup can resolve the problem across the globe later. As said a journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step, so if Reliance Ambanis encourage such a startup then I am sure it will do wonders.
Farmers' produce not fetching the right price. For this Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance must take agricultural lands across India on lease and bear the costs to cultivate the crop by introducing new technologies and making farmers their partners in producing the food. This will spare him from losses in case of bad weather. Or, share the profits in case everything going well. Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance being big they can bear the loss in some areas with the distribution of losses and profits across the Nation. Farmers will now be employed by these big corporates. This is a kind of collective farming. Those farmers who are not interested can still be independent.
